looking at what I'v used for profile pictures, see a theme... I live in a strange duality between technology and nature.

I tried this too, the results sucked, as usual.

😍 WOW I have _NEVER_ been able to get any speed out of PC817 opto isolators, THIS is a game changer. Applied a few new and old ideas. And did I mention how much I love this scope? - 50% square wave up to 500khz, - 2us latency - great rise/fall times. I could drive fets....

[cnc motor driver] Huh... The application note for the IR2110 said to use a CMOS 555 for a charge pump, so, I was just doing a "whats the diff?" and its HUGE! These maxim 7555 drive WAY better than any of regular 555 I have!

The longer I pick away at this OSI300 trainer computer design, the more I'm impressed with it. Its quite clever.

OMG ARG. ok, so, one of the things about that OSI300 board is the 6502 clocking. The 6502 clocks never made sense to me, the datasheets are obscure, but I just figured it out! Clocking diagrams from helped work this out!!! SHARE!!

🤦‍♂️UGH, ok, I found one, but I found the datasheet, the 6810 is just a 128 byte ram chip.... That kinda makes this design more appealing...

There is an odd problem. set and reset are just fine, but when I set up a chain of these in toggle mode to be a ripple counter, it counts backwards... I think verilog has strange inversions in it that I dont get yet. anyone?

well, that was kinda ... painless... 74v74? (for verilog?) And it seems to be working....

Is this the super rare encoder chip? this seems to be a parallel PC keyboard

I cant find the tweet of the person who needed the apple IIe keyboard switch, there was mention of the encoder for them, two of these have the normal encoder, and one uses an 8048

Cmon Rue... it just needs assembly... (get it "assembly"? get it?) Do we need glue logic for this? It is so amazingly hard to not get this idea run away on me, ADC, DAC, 80286/80386, ram. But what controller? 8031? 8085? 8041? 6502? 6802? 6809?
