Either Merrick Garland should be on the court right now and the Barrett nomination is also fine as a matter of timing, or Garland should be on the court right now but after voting has begun is too late to hold nomination hearings for Barrett.

RBG was not a political puppet for any president or party. She did not allow her religious beliefs, indoctrinations or mightier than thou beliefs override reasonable and common sense rights of anyone. She stood up for the rights of all Americans.
