I am "trending" on Twitter.Hey, great! Oh wait, it's mostly hateful... One of those bittersweet moments one experiences in our Brave New World.

Every person hearing of the attack assumed it was terrorism. To assume not wud mean you were brain dead.
-
True. But, if choosing not to spend time on proper research and connecting dots like true journalists do from the start, a media rep with such a big forum should keep assumptions private till ready to help us heal. She minimizes the pro-rape pro-terror culture behind AM's attack.

He was mentally ill. Alt left want to turn this into a misogyny attack to continue to play victim card. Thank G he wasn't shot and a POC bc same ugliness wud be spewed. (Just my opinion)

Another thing which saddens me deeply is how many people, including BRK here, are sorry it wasn't a classic terrorist organization's doing so that they could take it out on Muslims and refugees, on diversity and all the good aspects that make this country and our city great. Sick

Honestly, I did not get that from her piece. I think that might be projectionism as something some people want to read. This sometimes is typical.

Are we talking about the same article? There are 2: one on The Post Millenial, the other on NP. The last two paragraphs in NP are pretty clear, especially the last one: "I will cop to extreme selfishness in saying I would have preferred it this had been an act of jihadism..."
-
Not what I meant about projectionism. My thought is that so many times it seems alt left tend to provide narrative to portray themselves as victims. It gets tiring. And when tragedy strikes it is expected by a select few. Pain is too raw like a bad cut. Alt right is ugly as well.
