The 100 affidavits that were just printed off for the Wayne County Board of Canvassers meeting were submitted by Detroit residents who served as poll workers, election observers etc on Election Day. They were submitted to vice chair Kinloch form attorney Philip Mayer

The affidavits are not believed to be part of any litigation. Democratic Wayne county Board of canvassers member Jonathan Kinloch says these are in line with affidavits regularly received by the board

For Wayne County, Livonia appears to have had the most counting boards and precincts retabulated after Detroit. The Livonia state rep race saw Democratic incumbent eek out a win of about 200 votes over the Republican challenger, unclear if the retabulating changed any results

The new vote tots for Wayne County post-canvass is roughly 878,000 votes. There were roughly 80+ precincts in the city of a Detroit that were out of balance and unexplained, there are 491 precincts in the city

There were also several zero precincts in the unofficial results for Detroit that were actually reported incorrectly as a result of a mistake in the secondary path of the and the canvassing staff went through the containers of ballots

NEW: For 3 counting boards in the City of Detroit where zero votes were initially reported incorrectly due to a secondary path computer issue, the canvassing board count and retabulation turned up an additional 6,025 votes, according to Wayne County canvassing staffer

This is back of the envelope math, but with these updated precincts it would appear that the new voter turnout for the city of Detroit would be at least 256,000 ballots cast, compared to the 250,000 initially reported. Unclear which candidates picked up votes

Democratic canvassing board member Allen Wilson asks whether the unbalanced precincts this election are norma or a Nobel nuance. Asks whether the 2016, 2012, 2008 elections saw similar out of balance precincts occur and canvassing board staff confirms “yes”
