Cause someone will wonder. I got trained in riot control by the Marines. Many infantryman go through this course. We get pepper sprayed and then run a course. Think it is called SOTG- something like that.

In USN Basic training during the 90’s, we recruits had to breathe in tear gas to get an appreciation of urgency for donning gas masks when ordered. My lungs felt like they closed off, and my entire respiratory system felt on fire even from half a breath.
