    If apartheid was reversed & the industrious Afrikaners were granted the independent Homelands do you honestly think they would have squandered the billions pumped into the region & sat wide-eyed, cupped-handed, & done nothing? Too easy to make excuses for ineptitude.

    FARM ATTACK: Aan De Doorns, Western Cape Province. 1 elderly male victim stabbed several times by 2 attackers who fled on foot. Female victim managed to climb into roof from where she called emergency services etc. No arrests yet.

    How is it possible that you can be against race-based policies during the Apartheid years but not be against race-based policies post-democracy? It really confuses me how there is a different standard applied to policies that discriminate based on what ethnicity you are.

    Discovery’s “Black People Only” equity scheme a great opportunity to test the law: A white person should apply, say they identify as black, and then require Discovery to legally prove (perhaps Discovery has some kind of pencil test), they are white. Then take them to court.

    I think we should all identify as black and leave the pencil test to them.state in the application form that you are black and let them prove otherwise. Could be fun and worthwhile at the same time.
