    Ultimately it is going to require all of society to be involved in this conversation. What morals should we demand of our platforms? How should we tradeoff X views of sensationalist news with Y units of baby pics? FB needs to take the lead, but can't and shouldn't do it alone.

    For better or worse, there is something inherent to how tech-driven cultures strive to scale globally. Media-driven cultures most often seem tied to a single language and by nature lack global ambition. I see this gap continuing to grow.

    Not sure if new but pop radio seems more likely to play songs from years ago. Sort of like how “Bohemian Rhapsody” resurfaces through generations, increasingly hear songs from 00s becoming popular to my kids. A serendipitous value in world of personalized streaming.

    You know how products shape company cultures and company cultures shape products? My theory is that the product feature of TV cameras only showing what is seen on camera has shaped TV news cultures for decades.
