….. only those countries that use Arabic numerals or the Gregorian calendar. It's an interesting exercise, and a nice "Sunday morning trivia topic"..... but I would seriously question the "same in every country" claim!

If we're going to accommodate the nonsensical date format that the USA uses then we should also accommodate countries that don't use the Gregorian calendar – good luck finding a date that is palindromic in the Muslim and Jewish calendars (and others) as well!
