I am truly shocked that Kathleen Stock believes that Elliot owes lesbians a damn thing. He is who he is and he has bodily autonomy. How he identifies in future and who he has sex with is none of Stock's business. Nor mine.

Oh but the transes are stealing our imaginary girlfriends... No one is stealing anyone and it shows an unhealthy set of obsessions that people think a community can own people forever. It's particularly bizarre from people who get very upset about lesbian trans women.

My story is isn't everyone's and other stories are valid. During the period when I tried to present as male, I slept with men. My best woman friend persuaded me into experimental sex with her - I realised I could love women but didn't like being male. So I transitioned.

While I was transitioning, I had a lot of sex with men and was quite enthusiastic about it. A lot of them said they were straight. Unfortunately I got sexually abused and raped as will happen if you sleep with skeevy men. I had GRS related health problems for a couple of years.

I put on weight and the men I was attracted to were less interested. At the same time lesbians asked me on dates. It was the height of the 80s anti trans anti bi panic - but I thought about bad relationships with men and said OK. My lovers got bullied and moved on .

In due course I fell seriously in love with a woman and we have lived happily ever after. I didn't start calling myself a lesbian. Lesbians started calling me a lesbian. I really don't think Stock and her ilk get to accuse me of being a straight man.

Not because of the disrespect to me because why should I care? I have had to run from the Mob: MI5 have a file on me: I survived more than one serious illness. I hate the disrespect to the lesbians who chose to be my lovers knowing my history.
