    Unless they’re changing the rules and giving everyone first base automatically, these Running Royals need to be able to get on base. Not seeing it happening.

    I thought the addition of Phillips & Goodwin were locked in at CF with Soler/Boni/Phillips anchoring right. I get that these things have a way of working themselves out, but $5 mil on a guy who's comparable to A. Escobar at the plate probably shouldn't be a top priority

    He has averaged 50 steals a year the last 5 despite a low OBP, so I think he could swipe 50 with the Royals too.

    CF Billy Hamilton and the Royals are finalizing a one-year, $5M+ deal, sources tell Yahoo Sports. With Hamilton, Alex Gordon and Brett Phillips, Royals will have the best defensive outfield in baseball, alongside the Andrew Benintendi-Jackie Bradley-Mookie Betts crew in Boston.

    Hamilton could be a ‘nice’ fit, allowing Goodwin or Phillips to be 4th OF. Dayton is good about acquiring assets that could be moved in mid-season, if desired...

    Neutral. His speed is tempting. However, royals have Gordon, Phillips, Goodwin, Soler, Bonafacio. Why can’t we go for a position we NEED!

    Hearing the Royals are looking hard at center fielder Billy Hamilton, recently non-tendered by the Reds. Not a surprise considering they reportedly looked into trading for him in the past and he fits their stated profile of 'action-type' players. Looks like is on it.
