It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.

The photo was taken to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee - the first British Monarch to reach this milestone.

Today The Queen conferred the Honour of Knighthood on at an Investiture at #WindsorCastle.

This year The Queen remains at Windsor Castle during a period of Royal Mourning following the death of The Duke of Edinburgh.
