I was at the Greene County Courthouse today talking about the recent Senate debate on election legislation. Last week, Senate Democrats failed to pass a 735-page partisan election bill that would have federalized our election system.

As an election official for 20 years, I know the diversity of our election system is one of its greatest strengths. Forcing a one-size-fits-all approach on more than 10,000 jurisdictions across the country would make the system less secure.

Well YOU shouldn't have voted to "Federalize" elections in 2006, should you? In other words, you KNOW this is a lie. You KNOW it won't stop Missouri from having its own approach to elections. And you tenure to say what in this list you're against & why.

Did you know there are places that let you share water with another voter? It's a good thing we've got Republicans to save us from things like that.

If you really believe that, explain to us how four amendments to the Constitution allowing former slaves to vote, women to vote, 18 year olds to vote, ending the poll tax did not do serious damage to the diversity of our system.
And, what about the Civil Rights Act of 1965?
