There is a fantastic opportunity here for to demonstrate its economic credentials and common-sense approach through championing a right for the people to decide whether the *actual* deal for makes sense or not. A final + reality-grounded decision based on facts.

  5. I can't repeat these findings often enough, because they embody the reasons why Lab party Brexit policy is wrong, wrong, wrong at every possible level; why Lab didn't win the last election despite the overwhelming awfulness of May's govt; and why Corbyn shouldn't be leader.

  6. Time to repeat: "regardless of region, age, class or the type of constituency, the number of Labour voters who supported Remain vastly outstrips Labour voters who supported Leave. ..Labour is ... Remain in every age group, class and every region.."

For those urging me to go quiet on the BBC, important to understand that Brexit & Farage are largely the creation of the BBC. This isn’t a side issue but a central issue if we are going to win next year’s ‘final deal’ referendum to honour our European destiny as a people.

Cambridge Analytica, aka Russian intelligence, has all the Facebook profiles. Not “83 million” or “572 million” or whatever “specific, so realistic” number Mark Zuckerberg is now hoping to admit to. It has all of them. Just thought I’d save folks some time.

  10. What is it about being poorer for next 10-15yrs that Brexit leavers find so attractive. What is it that makes leavers wish upon themselves to pay more in taxes to make the rich richer & pay more just to live, potentially losing their jobs, their homes their friends & families?

Oh man, I hate for this to trend, cause it would make Trump furious so don’t Retweet this cause we want to be respectful to Donald J. Trump... THE OBAMAS AND THE CLINTONS WERE INVITED TO THE ROYAL WEDDING AND THE TRUMPS WERE NOT.

The EU has long championed the environment, playing an undeniable role in promoting higher environmental standards, on everything from beaches to fracking to air pollution. This can’t be compromised in future trade deals and the gvt. must adequately fund a world class watchdog.

  14. Your daily reminder that the UK originally co-founded EFTA in the 1960s as a direct competitor to the "ever closer union" of the EEC. But EFTA's concentration on trade alone proved far less successful, and so the UK eventually swapped sides for the sake of economic growth.

Ignore this “no paths to stop Brexit” stuff. The only way it could ever be stopped is politically anyway - it’s always been UK’s decision. May is bluffing when she says rejection of “deal” in Parliament this year = leave with no deal. Rejection of deal probably means no Brexit

I think that's crucial. This is emphatically not about being anti-BBC, and the BBC shouldn't take it as such. It's not coming from people with a crass understanding of how the BBC or the politics around it works. And it's not about flagrant bias, but subtle yet significant skews.

I wonder why farmers weren't told about this before the referendum? Brexit is a bait-and-switch con trick.
