I have no control over who RTs this but the few Trump fans & right.wing bigots who have done so ought to know I hold them in as much contempt as I do the anti-semites on the left. Racism is racism. There are no 'good' racists. Just racists.

Is it because criticism of Israel apparently constitutes as anti-semitism?
-
No, next
-
Clearly it does.
-
Criticism of Israel as a Jewish state is anti-semitic. Which is just as problematic, as one therefore assumes that criticism of Pan-African Congress and Nation of Islam for wanting Black states would be racists.
-
So, if I critisise The Brutal Netanyahu and his government for his brutal treatment of
#Palestinians is that Anti-Semitic??! -
No. That is very definitely not anti-Semitic under the IHRA definition. Although I feel there has been significant mission creep, we shouldn’t criticise the definition for things it doesn’t actually say. Criticism of the Israeli government is entirely permissible.

Even though Labour has the lowest instances of anti semitism of the main parties. How many convictions for anti semitism from Labour members in the last year? Come on toss pot tell us..
-
Maybe they do as you do & cower behind Twitter anonymity while tweeting racist filthpic.twitter.com/WZ6tMz06b2

You think this tweet is a clever commentary on debate over the IHRA definition? I despair. Have a read of what this former Appeal Court judge thinks. I guess he's a Jew-hater too, eh?https://www.lrb.co.uk/v39/n09/stephen-sedley/defining-anti-semitism …
-
Judge’s rhetoric boils down to: 1. The IHRA def was manipulated to make more speech seem anti-Semitic; 2. Israel is an illegitimate; 3. Jews aren’t a race; 4. Jews don’t have a rt to a Jewish homeland. He’s not someone I want to turn to for a definition of anti-semitism.
-
That's quite a tendentious interpretation you've come up with there. Sedley's Jewish by the way but I guess the wrong sort of Jew.
-
Tendentious? If so, blame Judge Sedley; it’s his position, summarized for clarity. Feel free to dispute my summary, but after several, arduous readings I’m confident I nailed it. BTW, I had no idea the judge was Jewish. I foucused on his words, not his religious background.

I agree fundamentally in the principle that you don't select degrees of bigotry and intolerance - doing so just means you are in fact supporting the bigotry you purport to be challenging.

Loads of Muslims now in the
@UKLabour so the increased antisemitic views is to be expected. Why the suprise? This country is a laughing stock. -
If you want to act against anti semitism, you can change this manner of thinking. Don't be islamophobic. Not all Muslims hate Jews, they don't all vote labour, don't go tarring them with a brush, a move you dislike when it happens to us. Treat others as you wish to be treated.
-
Davis, unlike you I’ve worked with and have hundreds of Muslim friends all of whom despise Jews & Israel. You can say what you wish pal, I’m simply stating facts from my experience. I’m also not Jewish.
-
Well then we change their views. We don't be racist ourselves.
-
I agree 100%, mate. Evil doesn’t fight evil, just creates more of its own brethren!
