    When I worked at Heritage it was under Reagan's broad tent. It was a home to evangelicals and libertarians -- scholars across the spectrum of conservative beliefs. The one rule we had was that you could not write about abortion. Guess that has changed.

    No procedure that destroys life can be considered safe. By definition, abortion is always fatal for at least one party involved.

    In which the former President says Jews don’t like Israel, and cites NYT coverage as an example because Jews in the Sulzberger family “run the NYT.”

    It can't be restored. If you are still a Republican you are either an authoritarian or the authoritarianism isn't a deal breaker for you

    and are the ONLY prominent Republican elected officials willing to consistently and unreservedly oppose the Trumpist takeover of the GOP. That should give pause to my fellow dissidents who still hold out hope that the party can be restored.
