I bought tickets to PAX on two different occasions many years ago, both times sold them off because decided against hotel+travel expenses. Then PAX tickets went to selling out instantly and I never bothered. Nowadays, I'll probably never go to one even if tickets were available.
I'm sailing in a boat parallel to yours. I still want to go to Boston to see my friends, but there is very little value in going into the venue. I just want the badges for the days that Giant Bomb panels are happening, but there's no schedule when the badges go on sale
