I'm still debating whether I should take a train to PAX East next year, but it's hard to justify an 18 hour trip over a 6 hour one

@RonnieFilyaw that's unfortunate. I'd assumed the longer trip was cheaper, is there any other tangible benefit to taking the 18 hour then?

@RonnieFilyaw if you get a sleeper car, the 18hr vs 6hr is mitigated a bit. Most trains have good wifi, so you could also get some work done -
