@RonnieFilyaw Just occurred to me: We have technology, why don't toasters have microwave-ish countdown timers saying when they'll pop up?

@RonnieFilyaw Then a percentage completion bar instead of a timer. Measure the bread 10 times a second and tell us when it approaches 100%.
@McGrignr then it stalls at 99% for like an hour and you have to call your son in law to come fix it
