Sure Quest 64 was a boring nonsense game farted out to get a JRPG on the Nintendo 64 but like - the core idea isn't bad. Someone buy the IP for, like, five dollars and do something cool with it is all I'm saying.

I got an aftermarket version that actually came with a gameshark plug-in cart that started you at max everything. I don't know how that happened, I was 9. I was still bored.
I didn't even find it boring. It had some really interesting ideas, but it was SO shallow. It needed to expound on those ideas and double the length of the game with them

I remember reading about it in Nintendo power when it was still early in development and it talked about party members and other cool things that never actually made it to the release. Playing it like, clearly this is a person who is supposed to join me, why aren't they?
