Honestly the real question is what's your go-to anime rewatch when life is particularly hard? I'm lame and mainstream so I will go through FLCL or Evangelion run
if that's the route i went, it'd probably be azumanga daioh, which is still pretty mainstream. though maybe i should revisit an old comfy hipster anime
