My dad used to use it. He preferred to have a pint of squash (not sure what Americans would call that, it's kinda like tang I think??) So he would put a table spoon of the psyllium husk in his mouth and take a big gulp, mix and swallow

I hated this method, I would always cough it up or choke. I preferred mixing it with yogurt, and various other things, like honey, chia seeds or oats, some berries, bananas etc. A little spoonful of jam or sugar. But I'd eat it quickly otherwise the husk will alter the texture

If I need to boost soluble fiber my go to is chicory. Brewed like coffee, or with coffee. So, sorry, no help from me

Ah, sorry Ronnie. I only used it in recipes for Keto/Low Carb lifestyle. Making breads, pastas that sort of thing. Hope it goes well though!

Yeah, i was considering making tortillas with it, then I found these amazing high fiber, low cal tortillas (also making tortillas is a huge pain!)
