I'm still dieting successfully, which no longer feels like a diet. It feels like my life. The most amazing feeling is that, when I have a big, delicious, high calorie meal or dessert, I legitimately feel the old guilt momentarily before I realize I have fully accounted for it

I have what you might call "cheat days," but I don't like to call them that. My body is a bank ledger. Every day I earn x number of calories. Some days I spend more, others I spend less. When the account goes in the red, I simply reduce 'spending' until it's in the black again.

Yeah, the whole analogy is kinda flipped, but you're taking a loan from your goals, and you have to pay them back
