I really like the relatively small window to wallkick, I think it’s something like four frames. It’s admittedly hard at first, but when you get used to it it’s so goddamn satisfying. Mario 64 continues to blow me away to this day
Mario 64 has always had the absolutely most satisfying movement to me, including wall jumps which feel exactly as precise as they need to be.

I tried to do a wall kick after playing M64 while I was at school. Instead, I just kicked a huge hole in the wall.
