Hey Dave, I do game dev as a hobby (and I'm hoping to release a new game to Steam soon.) What is your current level of game dev prowess?

A proper career would be great, but right now I'm just trying to get myself in the game. Comics took over for a while there, but it feels more and more like a dead end every day.
I feel the same way, that's why I'm trying to get a proper release. I personally think you should make the smallest game you can think of on your own, make it look great with your art style, and release it on Steam and/or http://itch.io
