i watched spider-man: into the spider-verse, ready to tell you gosh darn kids how much you over-hyped it no it was pretty good probably made me laugh more than any movie in a decade

I really enjoyed it but god it felt like they had a super slow paced movie for an "Origin" and then halfway through rushed into overdrive.
It did have a bit of the Origin Story problem. (First half great, second half, stop the physically large villain) but it did it better than most, I think

Oh it did definitely. It just felt they tried to put multiple movies worth of content into one movie and as a result it gets a bit muddled in places. I still prefer it over a large margin of other films I saw recently though.
