I will actually say that animating on the 2s instead of the 1s definitely hurt it that's okay for actual stop-motion which rarely has high flying action, but here, it was too noticeable

It's scientifically impossible to over-hype Spiderverse. It's the greatest "love letter to dorks" movie since Scott Pilgrim.

I really enjoyed it but god it felt like they had a super slow paced movie for an "Origin" and then halfway through rushed into overdrive.

It did have a bit of the Origin Story problem. (First half great, second half, stop the physically large villain) but it did it better than most, I think
