Here's some advice, based on the Thomas-Hill experience: Both Dems and GOP should want professional, outside counsel to question Kavanaugh and Ford at a public hearing -- not Senators. Make this a search for the truth, not a political platform for Senators of EITHER party.

Smear the accuser? Not this time. Maybe she’s not an inspiring lecturer but the question here is simple. Is she truthfully relating the incident? Why don’t you dig into reviews of Kavannaugh? Oh that’s right. A ton of information about him is blocked.

"Smear?" With what, the truth? These comments aren't from the conservative news media, or her enemies, they are from her students. It is what it is. "Positive" comments are supported by 100 of the students, and "negative" by over 600. Spin that.

These comments like the 65 women who were not raped or assaulted by Kavanaugh habe nothing to do with her claims or her propensity for truthfulness. Did you find any comments accusing her of lying or not being credible? In contrast, Kavanaugh been "untruthful" to the Senate.

In the Court of Public Opinion all bets are off. You can’t have someone throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks without expecting some of it to bounce back. If she can dish it, she can take it. Otherwise, rescind the accusation and go home.

Absolutely agree! I dread what this woman will be going through under the stares and accusatory questions of a man's club that has not even tried to be discreet about their fear and loathing toward women, particularly intelligent, successful, brave women!
