        Those handouts, you mentioned could they have been taxes paid by those same Corporations & the mega-wealthy? Hand outs are when you didn't pay into the system or when you get back more than you gave (or taken, aka taxes). Therefore, welfare and other "safety net" social programs.

        If I had been able to invest that money SSI/Medicare all along there would be more..but the govt can't keep their hands off of it, made it a transfer payment aka ponzi, so not a handout..theft
