I thought you were all about personal responsibility. I guess it was all a sham, because that racist tweet coupled with this lame excuse/non-apology helps me see what's really going on here.

What would be an apology to you? He didn't do anything wrong - someone other than him posted something awful, he removed it and let us know what happened. He clearly doesn't believe anything racist. So is there something you feel wasn't addressed?
-
Let's be careful to note that it was a trusted staffer who is allowed to post as Ron Paul, so it isn't just "someone other than him." He never denounced the message, did he? He responded to the backlash, and there is a LOT of backlash. Good.
-
Ultimately, his official account = his responsibility.
-
Exactly. First rule of delegation; you are responsible for the actions of those you entrust to act in your name.
-
Yep, especially when you did it yourself and then blamed a staffer.

Ron - How do you "inadvertently" post a cartoon as racist as this? Does that staffer still have posting privileges, and if so why? https://twitter.com/ReaganBattalion/status/1013813799655231488 … I worked on your 1988 campaign, and I'm really appalled.
-
Just seeing the phrase "Cultural Marxism", before I got to the cartoon, told me it was going to be some appalling right-wing-political correctness nonsense anyway, which is sad.

Does Stephen Miller have a part time job with you???

So did Ron write this apology or did another staff member write it?
-
I’d be surprised if he wrote either. He’s got some house cleaning to do though.

What kind of evidence do you require? Someone on video lynching a person while singing "I'm a racist"?
-
He had a series of super racist newsletters way back in the day. Also claimed he didn't write those just they had his name on them and he sent them and he paid for them and he read them and he kept making them.
