    Britain. Tombstone (Date AD 220-280.) Set up by husband. Aurelia Aureliana, lived 41 years. She holds a cloth over her shoulder with her left hand, her right holds three flowers. Half of her hair is in a bun, remainder hangs down. The Great North Museum, Hancock.

    A small but important section of wall for . This is the last standing section of the Roman Temple of Claudius. It would have been part of the outer arcade. The foundations of the temple itself can still be seen in the Castle vaults.

    Britain.Outside the western wall of Carrawburgh fort. In 1876, a cult building was discovered which consisted of a well (Coventina’s Well) surrounded by an enclosure. The structure contained altars, coins, these beautiful thuribles for burning incense. Chester Fort Museum
