I'd like to make a cozy experience inspired by classic flash games like Diner Dash and Penguin Diner, but with HOT CHOCOLATE. So far I have NPC's spawning and a player moving! Visually I'm going for a animal crossing approach of stylized with attention to detail.

Every time I have a programming question and I rly need help, I post it on Reddit and then log into another account and reply to it with an obscenely incorrect answer. Ppl don’t care about helping others but they LOVE correcting others. Works 100% of the time

I continue working on terrain systems in my tiny building game. Now, paths will try to stay flat if you lead them through sloped terrain 🌄 PS: grass is disabled while I'm doing more techy prototypes 😅 [1/10] 🦀

tip. Stair collisions always seem to cause issues with most folk, with cameras and characters juddering up and down the stairs. My advice is to use a second collision layer called "Step Up", and assign this to the IK for the feet, and dropped objects.

Playing with a new VR planar reflection component on Quest2. Still needs some tuning but looks good so far and runs great on mobile :)

Quick tip: A really good exercise in learning where your topology should go to get great low poly deformation is to imagine your mesh as a Starwars Stormtrooper suit- made of rigid plates and rubber. The outer shape of the plates (blue) are the important bit

Here is a speed up version of the texture progress, I know the UV and model arent the most efficient as they could have been, this project was more to get out of a burnout feeling and to relax, and a lot of things got implemented on the go as well, like the extra garnish
