Today, #AfghanPeaceProcess faces a problem of unacceptable levels of violence more than an issue of release of prisoners. The latter has reached reasonable completion. We however see no end to violence, which would be drastically reduced if Parties would enforce a #ceasefire.

1/2 Taliban was handed a victory in the Doha agreement and they are not going to change that game now. Their announced position today on the intra-Afghan negotiations in exchange for prisoner swap had no trace of ceasefire or commitment to wind down violence.
