Today we announced the prosecution of an SF Public Works manager for failing to disclose $250K in income. Public officials must serve the public, not use their position for their own financial gain. No one in San Francisco is above the law.https://twitter.com/meganrcassidy/status/1413167463022223360 …

$250K could buy a lot of Neiman Marcus handbags

In other words, to be clear, City Hall corruption is a much better use of a DA's time than handbag thieves. So, while we were all busy circulating video footage to prove Boudin's incompetence, Boudin himself was doing proper DA work.

Dierk, the world's laughing, and worse, at what's coming out of SF. Slice and dice it all you want, but cleaning house should include a highly divisive DA.

I thought it was cool he went after someone in City Hall while the anti-Boudin crowd was gloating over those videos. tbc I have no clue what should be done about rising crime and homelessness; just disappointed folks have decided Boudin doesn't either.

It was cool that he went after a corrupt official. I fully agree.
I'm what you'd called anti-Boudin crowd, but that'd be simplistic. I just weighted his work overall and I think it's nets negative
The NM heist is one of many with ripple effect over retail workers.
