Would love to see another star trek like Voyager on national TV and everything that has come out lately doesn't do anything for me

It does seem like the newer Star Treks lack the soul of the ones Roddenberry helped make. Wish they'd stop the seasonal trend of "it's like watching a 12 hour movie!!!" without the episodic stand-alone qualities of the earlier shows. You can have both, just sayin.

In 1972, Paramount Pictures presented an 8-week "Star Trek" seminar at Emerson College where I was attending. Each evening two episodes would be shown and someone from the Star Trek production team would be there to discuss. Gene R was there one week. AMAZING EVENING!
