    It's crazy that you sound like a voice in the wilderness, actually highlighting Beto's strengths that media figures are strenuously committed to ignoring, mocking, or dismissing. Hopefully today begins a turning of the tide.

    If you’re talking about holding an impeachment vote next week, I agree with you. If you’re talking about holding regular hearings that Trump obstructs, thereby making a case for impeachment, it’ll look different. I imagine the polling on impeachment would look different too.

    Joe Biden sure is getting to the president. He tweets about him all of the time now. Sometimes Joe tweets back. Trump is so predictable, he makes Biden's job all the more easy. Trump is a thin-skinned weakling, Joe Biden and his camp, they will exploit that to the maximum. DAILY!

    Agree with here. The resolution calls for "global reductions in GHG emissions from human sources of 40-60% from 2010 levels by 2030." Beto's plan requires halfway to net-zero emissions by 2030 which is in line with the GND resolution.

    Heard some rumblings on NPR yesterday about this. The group in strongly anti LGBT . I respect the candidates that are not attending. Hopefully those who do go, will make strong statements denouncing that element of the host group.

    I'm all for ambition & urgency. But this goes beyond that. This is being a child, stomping your feet in the corner, insisting people tell you soothing bedtime stories. It's an insult to people who have spent their careers wrestling with these practical problems.

    Just saw this reaction to Beto's climate plan from Sunrise. If they are going to insist that candidates pretend to support "net zero emissions by 2030" -- an obviously & ludicrously impossible goal that I've been telling people they DON'T support -- then I'm done defending them.

    Trump is like a spoiled child, incapable of thinking about or caring about anything beyond what's best for him. Criticize him, he gets mad at you. Praise him, he'll praise you back. This is all he responds to. He's never developed beyond this. He really is a 72 year old child.
