A friend on my Facebook thread about this clicked some link on that page and discovered that there was a whole thing where these people were desperate to make square dance the official dance of the United States. But congress was like "Nah, we'll pass"

So they went around to all the states and convinced many of them to make square dancing their official dance. IN A LITERAL #DANCEPIRACY TO MAKE SQUARE DANCING THE DEFAULT OFFICIAL DANCE OF THE UNITED STATES.
