I voted present on the confirmation of @DCPSChancellor Ferebee. My concern is his unsuccessful record of closing the achievement gap while leading Indianapolis schools. Our schools need a permanent chancellor but I need a stronger reason to vote for him.

He need to demonstrate that he's an independent fighter. Unless he's willing to push back against
@MayorBowser@DMEforDC@OSSEDC policies and fight for DCPS's continued existence, the sector will continue to bleed resources, making any sort of gap-closing impossible.
