    Athletes: When you’re on a team, commitment means putting the welfare and goals of the team before your own. If you don’t do that in HS, why should college coaches think you’d be any different in college? It’s something we put A LOT of value in when considering offering a player.

    Athletes who demand more playing time are usually trying to steal what someone else has earned. They become the victim and cry about their “mistreatment”. Stop blaming others and be the hardest working, best teammate in the program.

    It’s amazing how many people have the work ethic of an average person and then think they deserve a promotion or something special to happen to them. There’s not much of a demand for an experienced average guy. “If you want to be great, be great every day.”
