More Paris memories. In 1973 I read an article by Jim Forest about Thich Nhat Hahn. I decided to seek him out in Sceaux and knocked on the door. The next yr I returned and this time met Jim Forest there. We spent a day at Chartres, which changed my life. (1/2)

27 years later I edited “Thich Nhat Hahn: Essential Writings.” I went on to publish all of Jim Forest’s books, including, last year, his final work, “Eyes of Compassion: Learning from Thich Nhat Hahn.” Jim and Thay died this year, 10 days apart. #ParisMemories
