What a wonderful film. Until now (as I replied to Fr. Martin) I knew more about Ernesto Cardenal, who is in it (I covered Nicaragua as a reporter in the 1980s), than about Thomas Merton. Now, thanks to Fr. Martin, I will read as much Merton as I can find.
