What about a new deli sandwich named after her? Wouldn’t that be exciting?

I can think of some other ways. Feeding the hungry sheltering the homeless, standing up for peace and against racism, reforming the police. The press release would bring a quiet smile and perhaps a chuckle to Dorothy. She wouldn't need a mayor and cardinal to explain all of this.

What would be better is for DeBlasio to not allow Dorothy Day’s parish, the Church of the Nativity to be turned into luxury apartments.
