Just finished episode 1 of “Rise of the NAZIS” feeling overwhelmed. Stunned at how easily a democracy surrendered itself to Fascism & a megalomaniac, and how the political forces rode Hitler’s coattails in order to supposedly share his power desires. Just stunned.

I found it to be a really powerful documentary. We know there were really horrific people but they rose to power because most so called good people let them (if not supported them directly) - have you see ?

I have taught the writings and life of Jägerstätter for years and found the movie a huge challenge to what it means to be a Christian. I still want to lead a retreat based around the film in some way

After you mentioned a book about his story to me and I looked him up I knew I wanted to know more. Glad there’s a film but I want to read more in depth about his Christian witness.

I have yet to see the movie, but the book Letters & Writings from Prison was great.
