The story of St Nicholas, depicts a world where children were subject to abuse, trafficking, and violence: in one case providing dowries to 3 girls who would otherwise be sold into prostitution, in another reviving 3 boys who had been killed and pickled. Merry Christmas!
This is a ludicrous statement. Never heard about this before as a dutch citizan. If you don't provide a source you owe the Dutch ppl an apology

Which part of the statement is ludicrous? These parts of the St Nicholas legend have nothing to do with the Netherlands but with the 4th century bishop of Myra in Asia Minor.
