In the days that followed, the country learned more of the faith and goodness of those murdered that day—guilty of nothing more than “praying while Black”—and of how, in different ways, their faith had inspired them to lives of service and ordinary decency.

Sure, I recall that. The cops captured him, didn't throw him on the ground and put their knee on his neck, treated him all gingerly and stuff and-- and treated him to Burger King! They treated him like a hero! Who can forget THAT!?🤬
