It is possible (likely?) that Trump will be defeated in Nov. But even if there is a peaceful transfer of power, that will not be the end of Trumpism—a corrosive acid that has been injected into our cultural bloodstream. It will require years of reckoning and national detox.

That's an interesting point. If he loses, for the movement to continue going forward they will have to find another candidate that is as vitriolic and narcissistic as he is. It's not impossible, but it isn't necessarily an easy sell.
