... (I mean, one would think a faithful Catholic wouldn't place himself above the pope by calling for Francis to resign as though he were a CEO & not the vicar of Christ. And wouldn't a true ecclesial hero/martyr be willing to take the consequences rather than go into hiding?)...

... I'm not pointing this out to condemn all , , or does. They're capable of great reporting: twitter.com/DawnofMercy/st. The problem is when editors & reporters elevate a "hero" & then fail to admit he has feet of clay--or, in this case, a hat of tin.
