In the summer of 1980, I studied in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, just after Oscar Romero was killed in El S. Jean Donovan was in the same school as I. When she went on to El S, dying so tragically that Dec., I wept. She was a woman of such character and truly lived Christ.

Thank you for your kind reply. Yes, it was a dangerous time. I was there not too long after my father died (a nuclear veteran). I always admired your father's courage. And, it has taken me decades to find my own voice as you will see from piece attached.
