Revisiting ‘Nothing Sacred’ : A show about gritty parish life we could use today

The television series about an urban Catholic church was groundbreaking, and there has been nothing like it since.

That was a great show. It’s cancellation due to protests from Catholics United for the Faith, was a wonderful example of Newman’s complaint against those who won’t allow you to defend the faith in your own way but insist that you must do it their way.
