For those who couldn’t be there: Here is a video of my talk at this month’s Maryknoll Symposium on #DorothyDay: “What I Learned from Dorothy Day.” youtu.be/HNRR4lHHZnE via

This was a great talk and symposium. Important to note that there are 3 additional parts and presentations. Anyone interested in #DorothyDay & the #CatholicWorker should watch all 4.

I turned on your talk a bit too far, right as you were quoting Dorothy say that "The trees are alive again!" It was stunning to hear it and watch the trees behind you dance in the wind, as if in confirmation of her words.

I appreciate this memorial about my father by @ggrenwald above any I have read today--for his comprehensive review of his bio & history, for his attention to themes generally overlooked about his post-Vietnam life, but particularly for deep appreciation of his human qualities.🙏
