FD of St Columba, an Irish monk who died 6/9 597. His life was changed over a copyright dispute. After borrowing a precious Psalter from his former master St Finnian Columba made a copy. Learning of this Finnian claimed the copy belonged to him. King Diarmaid ruled in his favor.

He eventually landed on the isle of Iona off the coast of Scotland. It became a vital font of Celtic spirituality and played a role in the evangelization of Scotland and northern England. Columba lived on for 30 years.
